Leon Wu

Now in the lower sixth at Abingdon School, music scholar Leon Wu is a pianist and violinist. Leon joined Abingdon at the age of eleven and is studying the piano with Lynette Stulting and the violin with Mariette Pringle. He has won many piano awards and enjoys playing a range of repertoire.  During the school’s orchestral tour to northern Spain in the summer of 2014, Leon played Kabalevsky’s Youth Piano Concerto to great acclaim. He is studying chemistry, physics, further mathematics and Latin at A level, and he hopes to read science or engineering at university.
